Without a connected system
- Notion or Trello for tasks
- Toggl (or nothing) for time
- Spreadsheet for client notes
- PayPal, Stripe, or PDFs for invoices
Everything disconnected. You reconcile manually every month and hope nothing was missed.
About
We got tired of managing work in one app, time in another, and invoices somewhere else — so we built one simple system for people who work with clients.
The story
Like a lot of freelancers and small teams, we tried everything. Notion for planning. Trello for tasks. ClickUp when we wanted "one tool to rule them all." Each promised clarity. Each added another layer to learn.
We spent evenings configuring views, building databases, and watching setup tutorials — instead of doing the client work that actually paid the bills. The tools were supposed to save time. They became the work.
At some point it clicked: the problem wasn't that we needed a smarter project manager. The problem was that our tools had grown more complex than the work itself.
The problem
Tasks lived in one place. Time tracking in another. Client details in a spreadsheet — or worse, scattered across email threads. Invoices in a PDF folder or a separate billing app. Every week felt like stitching together a puzzle nobody designed on purpose.
Switching between tools killed focus. Copy-pasting hours into invoices ate hours. Quick calls and small requests slipped through because they never landed in the "official" system. And when someone asked a simple question — How much did we make from Client X this month? — there was no honest answer without opening four tabs and doing math by hand.
That chaos isn't a personal failing. It's what happens when work, time, and money live in disconnected places. You feel busy. You feel organized on the surface. But revenue stays fuzzy, billing stays late, and mental load stays high.
The insight
Especially if you work with clients — as a freelancer, consultant, coach, creator, or small agency — your software should connect three things: what you did, how long it took, and what you're owed.
When those three stay linked, everything else gets easier. You invoice faster. You spot underpriced clients sooner. You stop losing billable minutes because they never made it into a timer. Work, time, and money belong in one flow — not three products held together with exports and hope.
The solution
Aenflow is a simple all-in-one workspace to manage projects, tasks, clients, time tracking, and invoicing — built for people who work with clients and need to track billable work.
We designed it around one workflow, on purpose:
Client Project Task Time Invoice Revenue
No infinite customization. No week-long setup. Add a client, create a project, run a timer on a task, send an invoice — and see the numbers on your dashboard. Simplicity isn't a compromise here. It's the product.
Explore what's inside, or see how it works for freelancers and agencies.
A real example
Everything disconnected. You reconcile manually every month and hope nothing was missed.
One login. One workflow. Work flows straight into what you invoice.
How we build
We don't build features to impress. We build features people actually use.
If a feature needs a tutorial to understand, it probably doesn't belong in v1.
Client work, time, and billing — done well — beats a hundred half-connected modules.
You should send your first invoice today, not after configuring your workspace for a week.
A clear path from task to payment beats infinite views that never answer "what am I owed?"
What's next
We're building integrations so Aenflow fits the tools you already use — accounting, payments, calendars, and more. Automation is coming too, including smarter workflows through MCPs and connected services.
But the rule doesn't change: Aenflow stays simple. Easy to open. Easy to understand. Easy to bill from. We won't turn it into another bloated platform where you spend more time managing software than serving clients.
Every feature has to earn its place by saving you time or making revenue clearer. That's the bar.
